Your data & DRM Services
A plain-English overview of how privacy and data protection fit into the DRM platform.
Data protection built into the service relationship
We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to provide, secure and support our services, and to be clear about how it is used.
Clear purpose
Personal information is used for defined purposes such as enquiries, account administration, service delivery, security, billing and support.
Controlled access
Platform access is restricted to authorised users, with account security controls including two-factor authentication where configured.
Customer control
Business customers control their authorised users, screens, locations and the content they place into their DRM environment, subject to their package and permissions.
Rights & transparency
Our Privacy Notice explains the categories of information we process, why we use them and the rights available under UK data protection law.
Different roles, depending on the data
DRM Services may be a controller for information needed to manage its own customer relationships—for example account contacts, enquiries and service administration. Where a business customer places personal information into DRM and we process it only on that customer's instructions, DRM Services may instead act as a processor for that information.
Where required, business customers can contact us about appropriate data-processing terms for their service.
